On Tuesday, January 26th 2021, a meeting of the Joint Staff Relations Council took place at the Conference Room of the Ministry of the Public Service, Constitutional and Political Reform. Dr Osmond Martinez, CEO of the Ministry was the chair of the meeting. Dr Martinez expressed that Minister Usher and himself were eager to begin addressing and solving the existing issues. “We want to get started as early as next week,” said Dr Martinez. That was a welcomed statement as the members voiced their eagerness to get back to doing what they were appointed to do and stop the erosion of the Public Service that occurred under the previous administration.

The Joint Staff Relations Council serves as an advisory body to the Minister of the Public Service and is made up of ten members.
